Rare Original Mission Hill Animation Cel -
Cartoon
Network
The very first piece of "Mission Hill" animation art ever offered for public
sale! An original production cel used in this animated series, which initially
aired on the WB network in 1999-2000, and now airs every Sunday at midnight as
part of the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up.
This is one of the very small number of cels that were given to the show's
staff as souvenirs. It is in mint condition, no tears or flaking, and is
extremely crisp and bright -- this jpeg does not do it justice.
This cel comes from Episode 10 - "Hot for Weirdie" - and was used in a scene
when Andy, Jim, and Posey return from their unsuccessful attempt to get into the
hot new dance club "I Murdered Fred Mertz." Jim says "We should open up our own
club and not let anyone in at all." Andy replies,"That's why I like you, man.
Cause you're mean." Then Posey pokes Andy in the eye and gleefully adds "I can
be mean, too." (This scene was used in its entirety as a promo for episode 10
just two weeks ago on the Cartoon Network.)
This cel comes from a show staff member. If you are the successful bidder, it
can be personally autographed and inscribed to you by Mission Hill's creators
Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein.
